Newspaper Tidbits

The following names are abstracted from various newspapers printed in the Columbus and surrounding areas.  The newspapers were abstracted by Suzanne Mettle in the 1990's onto 3" x 5" index cards.  In 2010, The Franklin County Genealogical and Historical Society (FCGHS) donated their entire library (books, newspapers, and family records) to the Columbus Metropolitan Library, 96 S. Grant Ave., Columbus, Ohio, 3rd floor Genealogy and History Department.  In 2011, the 3" x 5" cards were organized, alphabetized, and then computerized into a comprehensive Newspaper Index file.  This is a selected index.
